There was this vendor at Mooneyes this year selling wheels, particularly steelies, some bad ass custom steelies and some other types of mostly tradition wheels. I'm pretty sure they only sold wheels. They were right down from where those girls were in the trailer and selling those pinstriped leather purses and wallets etc. If anyone has any info, it'd be greatly appreciated. Sam.
the only wheel vender I remember seeing was Cragar...........and the smoothies were pretty damned sweet.
It wasn't cragar, these guys had a red and a blue anodized steelie. They were also selling a weird kinda of smooth wheel that came in flat black and also with pinstriping. Doubt i'll ever find them haha, shoulda taken a fuckin card.
I think Skratch pinstriped one of thier wheels that was auctioned off but I cant recall who they were.
Yes, it was Crager, and yes Scratch did stripe the wheel. I agree, they had some pretty cool sub-styles of "traditional" wheels. The black chrome was killer.
