I have delt with this for over a year. Its real simple i found both carbs have to have the same float level powervalves and all setting the center carbs are not alot of cfm so you need to keep bumping the jets till its right also i had lean pops and bumped it up and is much better[IMG]

Here is what I would do. Make sure the other carbs are blocked off where they mount to the manifold. Use .010 type shim stock or something to make sure it doesn't get ****ed in. Use sealer too at the bases of these. As far as running off the middle two-find a unmolested carb similar and take your carbs apart and compare everything. You can't rely on these monkeys to make things right anymore. You must rely on yourself only=I'm sure fellow Hambers can attest to that. Cool manifold and keep us informed.

well it's coming off. After ****yzing the situation some more and talking it over with the owner's of the car, we're going to go a different route. The customer is in the hole $3500 from these guys not including what I've put into it. On top of that, the car is damaged now. So all of it is getting boxed up and the games will begin. I'm going to re-install the stock components and either build up a 425 or get a 572 crate...personally I'd like to keep it a nailhead but we'll see.
