I am looking for the bolt size for the windshield hinge to the body, I can’t seem to find the ones I took out which was the original style bolts, does any one know what size these are so I can run down to hardware store and grab some

1932-36 Closed Cars are #12 -24 x 5/8 binding head screws plus shake proof washer. Would assume Pickups the same.

12-24 is an odd size for most hardware stores. Probably have to order them online somewhere.

Number 12 screws dropped in popularity after Henry Ford died. No idea why he was keen on them. Must have had a patent or something.

They are the size between #10 and 1/4". Ford wasn't the only guy to use them. No reason the hardware stores shouldn't stock them....but, most don't.

Just a informational point, my 37 also uses 12-24 bolts for the windshield hinge mounting bolts.
