Technical Need help with a 36 Chevy pickup project

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by joe hot rod 32, Feb 26, 2021.

  1. HI..

We're working on a 36 Chevy truck, which was a basket case project and it's missing a few things.

We're looking for the brackets that go from the lower radiator support to the radiator and i think connect to the fender or inner fender.

We have a couple pics from a 34 Chevy master coupe bracket. Not sure if it's identical but if it's not.. it's got to be close. .. has one bolt down into the U brace... one through radiator and fender and one to fender (or inner fender)... There is one on each side of the radiator. I'll post the pics later if need be.

If anyone out there either has a set for sale or can send me dimensions / rough schematic of the bracket i'll make a set. I know they are important as everything on the front end attaches in some way to the radiator and grill shell.

PM me if you have any information that would be helpful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

  2. Here are some pics of another car with similar looking parts that we need to acquire or fabricate.
