I pm'd Dave at Midtown trans but havent had a reply yet so hoping someone can send me in the right direction.
I have a customer with a 47 Cad series 62 with the hydromatic 4spd auto trans, it works great exept for the 2-3 shift under load (light or heavy), it rev's up for a 3 count as if it went into neutral then hits 3rd gear, I have a factory manual & was going to check band adjustments but it doesn't look like the bands are adjusted like most other transmission's
I am happy to send the owner to a trans shop in Washington somewhere for a complete inspect/adjust or rebuild if needed but am looking for someplace that is familiar with this trans, most trans shops would give that deer in the headlights look if confronted with this animal, thanks.

This is a relatively easy fix. No need to tear into the trans at all. I'd rather you call me on my toll free# & I can explain it to you. (877) 737-4438 PS, I'm only around after 10 am to about 3 pm cst (My son runs the main shop now & I'm trying to semi retire) DAVE

Thank you Dave, I adjusted the complete linkage as per the factory manual & your suggestion & she shifts like a dream, thanks again for taking the time to talk with me.

So have you ever thought of a working vacation here in the great North West? I have a customer with a 56 Packard 400 that needs the trans rebuilt (3rd gears gone), I have a full service shop available, make it worth your while$ & show you all the good fishing spots.....

Actually, My inlaws live in Salem, OR. We are planning a motorhome vacation there after the first of the year. Never know, we just might stop by. Have cold beer? DAVE
