    Howdy guys :)

I just got a complete 46 ford front axle w/springs and all, I'm trying to get it apart. Is there a easy way of getting the king pins and spring perch bolts out? They are really stuck in the axle, the spindles turn freely, I have tried soaking with PB Blaster for a couple days then heating axle around pins and tapping with a hammer... no good kemosobie???

Thanks, and have a great day

It will take A lot Of heat from torch and BFH

  3. I finally got my perch pins out! I had to hacksaw all 4 points where the radius rods met the axle, then soaked with Gibb's and then heated with a MAPP Gas torch then a 20 ton press! They groned coming out! Now I have to grind flat the damage done with the saw and get some shims to fit. I'll replace em with new stainless steel pins and lots of "never sieze"
