The PU is relatively easy to shim up correctly as Model A body styles go. The extra steel may make it a bit harder, but you can always cut some bracing and re-weld it later after the body is aligned. I write down shim thicknesses at each location and alignment results for each trial fit. It makes it easier to plan the next trial set of shims. I found that it was critical to fully tighten down all body bolts with each trial fit. Failure to do so will give erroneous results and will require more trial fittings. Folks on Ford Barn can give good advice, but may be a little hostile to rodded vehicles if you point modifications out or they are obvious in the photos. but many folks over there have modified cars themselves.
