I've got a '33 Ford pickup cab on a reproduction '32 frame. I was mocking up the underfloor pedals last night and noticed that when I put the 364 nailhead where I like it the brake pedal hits the cast-in housing for the starter. I could rework the pedals to fit but I'm worried about the brake and clutch ending up too close together. I could go with hanging pedals, but I've already got this nice set of drilled pedals from the Hot Rod Garage. This is my first build, and I'm looking for advice from anyone who has done this sort of thing. Thanks.
On my '32 Chassis I used a mid-30's Ford p/u clutch and brake assy. I'm running a 401 with a manual trans. I massaged the pedal arms to go where they needed to be to clear the frame rail on the left and the bell housing/starter on the right. Here are a couple pictures that show the outcome so far.
