I have a 31 roadster and I’m putting a stock 39 car Flathead in it and want to keep the stock A grill shell and hood. Who makes a plug and play radiator for this set up? IMG_4256.JPG

The key is price, I have a Brassworks 4 core in my 30 V8 A, several companies make aluminum ones that are a lot cheaper but don't know about the quality. I have a 30+ year old Walker in my 29 coupe and it is starting to seep on a seam so I would recommend them too.

    I stood a Ford 'Escort' rad. up^
(orig. was transverse), reworked the plastic tanks, fit 30-31 nicely. In '08 $100 bucks. Used a fill-cap tube in the upmost hose.

I keep looking at the Brice Thomas radiators for my 31. Not as spendy as a Walker or Brssworks but custom made to order in Alabama By an outfit that also custom makes radiators for semi trucks, earth moving equipment an any other thing you need a radiator for. https://cgj.com/ Their radiator for a 32 shell with a flathead that I have been watching on Ebay runs 445 right now. There is about a 2 week wait because they make them to your specs after you order one.

  7. My son put a Brass Works rad in his '31 Model A.......no issues for the past 25 years. I put a Walker rad in my '40........the tank solder joint cracked after 10 years....BUT....Walker repaired/rebuilt it for free. Hard to beat that.
