Technical Need help

I have a gas tank that I have no idea what it’s for if I post a picture can anyone help identify it. Any and all help is appreciated

Looks like the tank I had in my 41 Ford truck. It goes under the seat.

 

38-39 Ford big truck looks like that also

 

35-36 ford big truck looks a lot like that also.

 

looks like an engine stand I have.....

 

Looks a lot like the original tank out of a 41 Ford 1 ton I have. Like Jethro says, it fits under the seat.

 

I don’t know if this changes anything but it has a hydrostatic fuel sender mounted in the bottom of the tank. Stillrunners the engine stand in the background is a rotisserie.

Not without moving the mountain of stuff on top of it. I'll see if I can get close to it this weekend, but don't hold your breath.
