I hope this is the right forum to post this in and it is acceptable to ask for this kind of help. I know there are a lot of people here with a lot of old car technical information and I need some help if anyone can help me. Since I do not have the financial sources to own an old car, but have loved anything car related since I can remember, I live out my love of cars through drawing and technical art work. I spent 5 years drawing side, front, rear, and top views of the Ferrari 250 GTO in both Series I and Series II form and then painting them in Photoshop, and I did plans of every single car built, (36 or 39, depending on how you count) as they appeared when first built and how they appear today. Over 90 drawings in all. I have also worked on and off for years postulating what the 1958 Packard Hawk would have looked like if Studebaker would have continued to build it up till 1964. I have also worked on and off on doing a set of drawings for the 1934 Voisin C28 Aerosport with only a couple of side views to work from. Anyway, my latest project is to do a 1911 or 1912 National Speedway Roadster in Sketchup. My problem is drawings. All I have is some really grainy drawings of the engine, front and side, and a couple of chassis drawings, but they are so small it is very difficult to scale them or get any detail out of them. Does anyone here happen to have drawings of a 1911 or 1912 National engine/chassis or know of where I could find some online? I've gleaned everything I could off of Chuck's Toyland and a couple sites that were restoring a National but without being able to get accurate measurements I am stuck, especially with the engine.
