Need Holley carb info

I have an old Holley carb I got at the swap meet. The guy said it came off a 312. The list number is 1272-1. The fast idle and accelerator pump cams are metal. The float level is adjusted by bending the arm (no external adjustment).
I tried Holleys online charts. They dont go below 1800. I tried their Email. Nada. I'd like to know if I've got something I can peddle to the Eary 'Bird guys or $5 worth of parts.

 

My ancient Holley Parts&Spec manual does indeed list it as the correct unit for 1957-58 Ford and Mercury 312s.
