need ID on king pin kit

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by flatordead, Jun 6, 2008.

  1. I just got a few nos Monmouth #A161 kits. The look like 30/40s chevy standard kits, but I'm not shure. Would be great if someone can look them up in the old parts book.

Monmouth was the brand sold by NAPA back in the day.

According to my 1952 vintage NAPA catalog, the #A-161 king pin set is listed to fit all Chevrolet 1931-1952 1-1/2 ton trucks (except H.D. & COE) and 1931-1952 3/4 ton.

    Also fits 1938-1952 GMC series 100-250 that use 3-5/16" x .921" pins.

Probably fits a few newer year trucks as well, but my catalog only goes up to '52.

  3. Thanks a lot TagMan, you made my day.
