Hot Rods Need info on early Pontiac intakes.

I'm looking to swap my 2 barrel intake for a four barrel on a 1960 389. I've been told only '59 and '60 intakes will work because of the water ports. Can anyone shed some light on this? If you have any leads finding one that would be helpful also. Thank you

 

55-60 will all bolt up. 61 and later will not.

But still not quite that easy. The ports are larger post 56. 59-60 doesn't have the mounting holes for the earlier generator but probably not a concern for you I would guess so 57-60 should be your best bet.
