i saw a picture of a bike on the net the other day using them as floorboards on a motorcycle.I'm running floorboards on a bobber but thought them pedals looked a lot nicer then what i have.It looked like they made the moon pedal for both the right foot and the left foot. The front of the pedals looked like they angled slightly one left the other right.Anyone have any info on this or did moon just make them straight and i was seeing things.Real interested if anyone knows..............

Used to be able to get the barefoot pedal in left and right as well as the little left dimmer switch foot.
I think the dragster pedals also came left and right, but most FED's used a hand brake so the left pedal wasn't as popular. I never did like that big****ed shoe print pedal. No one puts their whole foot on a pedal on the street and that lip on the heel gets in the way of adjusting your foot on the pedal on long trips.

the barefoot pedals are Cal Custom, I see them on ebay all the time,

    they're more for goofy looks

the Moon pedals are more serious, I had one that had a strap over the toe,

guy musta thought he might slow down if his foot slipped. [IMG]

I see them here and there, this one was given to me.

Yea, I gave mine away too. Your foot will be burning and asleep on every road trip.

The old Cal Custom pedals were just covers that strapped or clipped onto your normal Chevy type pedals. Just dress up items, like today's neon pedals. Some of the others were real pedals that bolted to the floor or chassis in a dragster. They ALL***** in a street car. That heel cup was to keep you from putting dents in your aluminum belly pan with your heel. [IMG]

As for the toe strap, I've had to use that myself for the above mentioned reason. I also put a GTO in the sand trap once when an engine mount broke. I couldn't get my foot under the pedal stuck to the floor the and harness wouldn't allow me to reach the ignition to shut that sumbitch off.
Make sure***** fits and allows you to do what you need to do when you put it in the car. The Goat wasn't mine and didn't fit me. I was into the trap going flat out before I could release the friggin harness and shut it off!
