Need info on shippin a hot rod to Australia........

  1. Were buildin a few personal hot rods at my shop.I have Tyson from Melbourne livin with us and workin at my shop.We were talkin bout buildin him a car and shippin it home for him.We are wonderin bout shippin ,do we ship it whole or in parts?Also where do we ship it from.We heard from L.A. is the best bet.Any info would be kewl.......Shiny

  4. You're sitting in the same ocean, do it Kon Tiki style. Throw it on a raft and push it out to sea. It's bound to get there eventually if it doesn't bump into Hawaii. [​IMG]

    You're pretty close to a major shipping centre, why ship to the States then across the ocean? Advertise for someone looking to help fill a container or just call a shipping company. Shouldn't be a big deal, but might be pricey. Make sure the paperwork is in order. Canada Customs and Revenue will want it's slice-o-the pie.

    i used sea rail outa vancouver to ship my olds. they go over seas

    A friend tells me Ray has containers in Longbeach all the time. Ships 3 cars at a time with parts.......OLDBEET
