I am looking for any information on obtaining a ***le for my 1954 Studebaker Commander. I purchased it from a used car dealer. He had it for 17 years but never changed the ***le into his name and has not been able to locate the ***le. anyone know how or where I can get one for it?

pretty easy here in OK to ***le 42 it takes about 6 weeks though not sure what you would need to do there but I go through a guy at the tag agency and he does all the work for $150

  4. The used car dealer couldn't re-***le it without the old one?

Used car dealer... No ***le? (1) That should be his problem, not yours. (2) Red alert.

What he said before me. A DEALER selling without a ***le is a HUGE red flag!

Used car dealers can't sell a car without a ***le unless they do it as parts only on a legal bill of sale. Can't find the ***le doesn't mean he ever had one. Hope when you run your numbers on the car it isn't stolen. Hell in Fla a junk yard has to send ***les in on cars they crush. 17 years and he never got a ***le in his name. Good luck.

A used car dealer selling a car with no ***le is like an FNG not posting an intro. It happens.... Good luck!

It's the dealer's responsibility to provide you with a ***le.

    Have fun.
