I don't care what these guys say, I'll still have ya stripe my Chevy :D

From a "consumer" pov....I dig your logo I think it's cool and catchy

let's see if I can communicate in words:

    Gearhead
    Larger logo, centered
    Graphics
    (smaller phone number)

The text could be in a pinstripe style, or doll up something inside the head.

    Hey Jeff,

I would keep it simple so you can use it for shirts business cards and everything you want to put it on with no problem reading it when it's small or large. Maybe just one or two colors that go well together.

What if you tried using one of the gears that are in the head as a background and place your wording inside that.... Or incorporating the gears in the lettering and get rid of a background all together?

I think you just need to play with it a bit more and you'll get it. Don't let all the non constructive criticism slow you down.... Besides its YOUR logo if you like it that's all that matters.

It appears from the majority of the comments posted , that a trip back to the drawing board is in order . Good luck with your endeavor.

I think printing pinstriping on stuff is a little tacky. Its supposed to be original and one of a kind so just slapping it onto a shirt off the computer is just lame. Anyway shirt printing screens are easy to make and you can just get clear overhead projector paper, (acetate) at any printing place. then you can draw or paint on it in black and that can be transferred to the shirts. You can also draw on paper and then just photo copy it to the acetate. Its real easy stuff.

The fonts are horrible. I agree with the hand drawn fonts. If you can scan your hand drawn text or even take a decent picture of it, I'll re -draw it in Illustrator for you if that will help. Let me know if I can help. Keith
