need insight on why swap frames.

    With all the aftermarket stuff for vintage cars, and trucks there is really no reason to swap out your whole frame. If you want to get real real low down, and dirty, or the stock ch***is is junk, thats a different colored monkey all together. Not that frame swaps are a bad deal. I could see why some guys would do it(well now i'm just being a f*#king fence rider)
     
  2. What he said, I didn't even have to read any more replies. I would say 2% of the hotrodders out therre can pull a full frame swap off i a good manor.

    Amen. I try to tell folks it ain't the way to go if they have a decent car to start with. It's a lot of work, and not worth it for the most part, especially if you don't have the tools in the first place. People don't realize what kind of time, materials, planning, and just general knowledge is involved...it seems easy enough on face value. Then the seemingly petty details have a way of cropping up and slapping your ***. :eek:
