Need intake ID

    Here's an intake I got from my scrapyard buddy, Who ever did the work on it did an ok job. What is the tube for inside the center carb? It's the only one that has it.

    i'm gonna say cadillac,just because i don't see a provision for a thermostat.could be studebaker too,for that matter.

    Looks like a Y block ford. Can't see the thermostadt housing, should be in front.

    no thermostat housing. the only water passages are in the center.

    My vote is Y-Block too. Turn it on its side so we can see the ports.

    the tube in the top of the center carb looks like a breather , they made different styles.

    the outside carbs don't have primary circuits would be my first guess [​IMG]

    Why Y block?? you can see that the ports are side by side not stacked! [​IMG]

    The tube in the center carb is a bowl vent, alot of times it comes in handy to shoot a little carb cleaner into it to prime on that's been sitting a while.

    I'll flip it over and get a pic if that will help.

    Certainly not a Ford Y Block, the heat port is not in line on them. Looks too small to be a Lincoln version.
    Is there a part # anywhere?

    Can't find a # on it anywhere. I think they welded the adapters for the outer carbs over the #'s
