I was using a Mustang MC with 39-48 Ford hydraulics for years. Going to upgrade to a Wilwood and note that they offer 3/4", 1" bore size MC's. Recommendations?

what size is your existing mc? how are the brakes...pedal effort, and pedal travel?

My guess is that 1" would be what you want. Or even a bit bigger.

Get your info from the source. I called Wilwood and they were happy to help.

  5. I used a Wilwood 1 1/16" bore on my Roadster with 41 Lincoln Fronts and 2 1/4 x 11 Ford Rears, and nearly had a devastating accident in a panic situation. Not sure if the master was defective or the rears were designed to have less pressure than the fronts. I replaced it with a 1" 67 Mustang and it works good now.
