I just found out that I may need a different drive shaft. Apparently the one that was given to me with the car is the wrong one. I need a driveshaft for a 54 customline 4 door. Anybody have a spare one? I know its a dumb question to ask, but still. Or does anybody know where I can get one for pretty cheap? I live in Arizona. Thanks fellas. Rocky
Junk yard in Deer Valley that has a bunch of old stuff, can't remember the name. There's a number of places that you can have a driveshaft built around Phoenix. You can have a new tube put on your yokes. Are the yokes the right ones and it's just that the shaft is too short?
I've got a '54 Crestline but it's in up at my hunting land in northern Michigan (200 miles from home) and buried in snow. 4door, 239 V8, Fordomatic & that's about all I can tell you, driveshaft condition is unknown but it should be okay. If you absolutely cannot find and still need one in spring let me know. I plan to part out the car probably in May or when things thaw out up there and I can get the trailer to it.
