    Uhh.............no.

  2. I'd keep the Willys if for nothing else other than you CAN get the family in it. I've got a two seater and another one in the works, with a family of 5 I'm still one seat short even if we take two cars.
Plus the fact that your car is way better than that truck, you might as well keep changing it to suit ya.

I don't care if the Willys is a 4 door I would not trade it for that truck.

I'm pretty sure lockwoodkustoms means "Not unless you want to be kicking yourself in the ass later." but I could be wrong. That Willys should stay in your possession. It's too nice to trade away for that truck. Keep mama happy!

  7. No dice!,,,your car for the truck is insane,,even up is even more insane!

If I were looking at that trade he would have to cough up a lotta cash! HRP

I own a 33 truck and I love it. It is nothing special and it would be hard to part with too. But I want to get something with a lil more room and can haul more junk. LOL I think you might regret gettin the truck if you have a family, unless you got another family hauler around. Just not a lot of room in that cab. Thats my 2 cents.

Gotta agree with the rest of the guys here , I can't see letting any kind of Willys go for a trade on a basic project 34 pickup ,that you already know youare going to have to change a bunch of shit on to make it work for you. There are a whole lot of 32-34 pickups around [ very popular right now], but they are real short on room inside and unless you are very short ,you are probably not going to be able to enjoy it as much as you have your Willys, plus it won't haul your family. My $.02worth. Waldo

  14. wouldn't do it !

  15. I agree with the keep your Willys and build a truck camp.
The car is really slick. Very unique too.
I have my "street rod" 40 Merc-family car now I'm getting ready to build a RPU hot rod. The best of both worlds.

Well I decided I would pass, if he really wants it he'll come up with some cash. But you guys were a lot of help, I'm glad I asked your opinions, you helped me see the light. Rusty.

A steel willys? Are you on crack?

Keep the Willys- you will regret ever selling it.

Put a blown Hemi in it.

The pick up owner will be bragging about this deal for the rest of his life if you fall for it.

Houston, we have a problem. Don't do it! The truck is nice, but not a fair trade, BY FAR.

If you're bored with the Willys fix it to your liking. The Willys is much better from every standpoint from what I can tell.

I would have to say no... You can pick up a 32-4 cab in decent shape a lot easier than you can a Willy's sedan. The rest of the stuff on the truck can be found easily and a new bed is only a phone call away...

Your sedan for his truck and a bed full of greenbacks, yes.

  27. Have seen comparable trucks bring $7000-$10,000 on eBay. If you sold the Willys for cash how much would you expect for it?

Keep the Willys. Change what you do not like about it, or add something different. Swap in a 5 speed, add a blower, paint it a different color. Just don't trade for that.
