I am just about done setting up my suspension and pulled out the crusty clapped out shocks on my 1954 Ford. Where can I get KYB gas adjusts or a similar type of shock that are the same size as stock? I am using drop spindles up front and will probably do some blocks in the rear before I get serious about doing a real lowering job.
I think you may have to do some searching. I went to KYB site and they don't list one for the 1954 Ford cars that I could find. If you click on Monroe shocks on the same page, after putting in all the info, they give some measurements of the Monroe ones, you might be able to find the KYB through the Monroe measurements. Or just get the Monroe ones.
there is a suspension place right down the street from elpolakos place i can not think of the name off hand but they are great people for just that .35th ave just south of osborn east side of the street in the indutrial park .if you can bring in an old shock w/ the correct length or maybe even just correct measurements they should be able to fix ya right up .
