Im looking to get started on a project after i get back from Iraq in a year. Is their some good books out their that i can bone up on my hot rodding. Ive just never worked with the 30's to late 40's cars. Looking at a 31 or so Model A ford. Wanted to look into a suicide front end, but have no clue how to set one up. Any reading material out their on suspensions, and chopping, channeling, Z'ing ext.... I have a year so i should have it built in my head by the time i get back!!! Thanks
Tex Smith's "How to Chop Tops" is an excellent resource. I haven't found anything more helpful than just searching through the posts in the HAMB! Some of the best builders around show their stuff step by step on here! Good Luck in Iraq man, should have a nice bundle of that tax free cash to spend when you get back!

Hey Strawdog----just a little advice from a Vietnam Vet----keep your mind on what your doing and dont daydream----you dont want to get hurt or cause someone else to get messed up cause your not paying attention......stay safe and come home in one piece.....THEN start your dreaming..........stan
