Not too hard, the old way involved finding a doner full size 69-70 and do the swap with the knuckle ***embly. But those rotors are like hens teeth finding new if they need replaced. Full size 67 was available with disc but the 4 piston calipers are a pain and not worth the h***le unless for a restorer.

Now you can keep the drum spindle and get some disc brackets from Scarebird for the conversion and go with a dual reservoir master.

You might catch some slack from some guys here since this is a 64 and older forum. Also check over on Performance Years on their forums as well.

with that said ^^^^^ I would say find someone that sells a kit for your car and install. may have to do a little bit of welding but other then that pretty strait forward.

i been looking for an older pontiac 58 bonneville would be nice

  5. yes, you have a dual master, but you will need to change it to one for a disc/drum car (a slightly newer one will work) and round up a proportioning valve which goes in where the junction block on the frame is now. For your application, a factory one for a GM fullsize car will work.

  8. The year is not as important as the brake setup on the donor car.

That being said, anything 70's and up should be safe (caveat emptor)!
