hey everyone. i just received a set of Buick side trim and none of the pieces fit right. i suppose that is expected. the door piece is too short and the front fender piece is too long. and the curved end piece isn't going to fit in front of the rear fender very well.

for those of you that have it and it didn't fit your car as well, what did you do to fit the pieces correctly? and how did you install the trim? i'd like to see some pics with your cars that have the side trim. thanks a lot.

Tape to the car just like you want it (as if it was one piece) this will show you where to cut and weld. Sometimes you have more money into reworking it than the trim cost.I have a guy that does perfect work at $75-$100 a weld, it adds up fast. After that, making clips seems easy. Good luck...........OLDBEET
