    Hi Everyone,

I am in the midst of a restoration on my 1964 F100. I need a little help with pressing bushings out of the front for the front suspension. Does anyone have any tricks or input? I have attached photos of what I am referring too.

    Thanks,

I've done the twin I beam suspension, I guess yours is earlier? I don't recognize what you're showing. I'll tell you the twin I beam was a******, I use hydraulics and had to machine adapters to fit into the space to press the old out and the new in.

long threaded rod, and a couple of pieces of tubing the correct size. You need to apply force to the thin outer sleeve, that is pressed into the big cast housing. Having a lathe makes it easier to make the special tools.
