    Hello again H.A.M.B.ers!

In addition to my Model A roadster build I am also working on another car that has been "first in line" for almost 10 years, but has been relegated to the "Back Burner" for far too long.

I bought my '65 Falcon sedan almost a decade ago as a restoration project with my father, but being a "kid on the go" it turned into my faithful daily driver for about 6 or 7 years. When I bought the car it had only 74,000 miles on the clock and ran beautifully. Of course the daily driving added to odometer reading and she tends to blow a little bit more blue smoke out of the exhaust than she used to...a**** other things.

She has sitting for about 2 years (a little driving here and there, but rarely) since I bought my new car to give her a retirement and it is high time I gave her some much deserved attention.

My original intent was to restore the car to original, but since my intro in to Hot Rodding....I would like to give her a lil' "pep" with a vintage 60's look. I plan to build up the original inline 6 cylinder (aluminum pistons, Cl***ic Inlines alum head, hot cam, 3 duces) into a decent street motor with some punch and replace the original 3-speed with a 4-speed, stouter suspension and 5-lug wheels and breaks.

I am pretty sure what suspension components I will need, but need some advice on what 4-speed, bell housing, flywheel, clutch, driveline and rear axle I should use for this setup? My car has the 170 ci in it now, but I am considering upgrading to the 200 ci.
    Thanks!

Here's one I had. It was a 170 with a 3 speed. Ran and drove great. They are fun little cars.

    231romona,

Very nice little car! I love mine as well, but the motor is tired as is the rest of the car and at 60+ mph, that poor little motor is just begging for a 4th gear! I paln to give her a nice restoration with a hopped up drive train to give her some "kick".

go with a later 6cyl....1966 up for the bellhousing pattern for the 4 speed and maybe for some extra cubes...think there was a 240 six in later stangs and granada's...
