Hi Guys, Hope someone can help!! I have a 35 Ford Coupe with a 39 Mercury Flap head in it putting out about 220Hp. Want to put a T5 5speed transmission behind it. rinning an 11" flywheen & clutch (10 spline) Need to know what model car the gearbox i should be chasing. I have been told a T5 World Class.
Check a "Speedway" catalog out. I just put a T-5 out of an S-10 Chevy behind a '48 flathead with one of their adapters and it worked out perfect ( shifter is almost in stock position) .Their tech guys were helpful also.Good luck with it.
S10 T5's with the pre-1993 GM pattern are non-world-class. If you are not rolling sticky tires, a NWC T5 will be fine. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
