    If I had a 28/29 model A truck like that, I'd:
-Lower it on big 'n littles
    -get kelsey-hayes wires
-paint a 10" tall cartoon character on it somewhere (I'm thinking beaver or crocodile)
-strait exhaust right out the side of the hood
    -custom (50's?) dash
-and add some custom cast excessory parts (I'm a bit faded, spelling is impaired:)
    -5 speed trans

-Drive it EVERYWHERE, 10 miles slower than the speed limit so every****hat could see it.

Greaseball, I like your thinking. You're kool. Racer29 , that's good advice, that's what, a lot of people say.Do it your way. I just wanted some new ideas. I built a 29 Pickup in 2008, and it turned out pretty good. Here's a photo of it.I ran a 350 with 3 dueces, 350 turbo, and nine inch rearend. No hood so everyone could see the engine.[IMG]

Love to get some ideas on the engine and transmission. I haven't decided yet. I have the frame all boxed now. Made the upper brackets for the coil over shocks.Welded upper and lower brackets and installed the coil-over shocks. Made and installed sway bar****y.Received my complete 4 inch Super Bell dropped axle****y today. Got it all together and ready to install. Getting ready to make my rear radius rods. I made the brackets for them today.

Anyone else have any ideas for the drivetrain for my little pickup. Or best ways to install the engine without altering the firewall. m.ralph

In my opinion the best A PU ever built. Do a color of your choice but don't venture too far from the basic build parameters of this one.

Fab32 I agree, I love the looks of the little truck. My 29 pickup that I built 3 years ago, I keep the exterior in tact, except lowering and wheels. They look good lowered. Thanks to everyone for the intake. m.ralph

Decided to install a sbc engine with 350 turbo. I used it before on my other pickup without any major problems, and it worked fine. There is a tight fit on the driver's side with the steering shaft and the exhaust.
