Four doors are harder to get rid of than Sportys. Always some young buck lookin' to get into the H-D club in the springtime. Sportys are usually the first step. That's a $45-5500 bike in a few more months. Hold on to it unless you need the old car itch scratched immediately.

  8. You haven't traded yet???????????? Get on it!!!!!!

What it would boils down to, step back and think; What is the Harley worth? If you had the money that your Harley is worth, would you pay that amount for the car or would you keep looking? If you invest money into that car, how hard would it be to sell?

That Sporty is worth damned-near nothing right now. Broom that shitter and get a car you can use and somebody would actually buy if you wanted to move it. Even a more-door is more desirable to most folks than that chick scooter.

  11. It is a $1500 car. Buy it out right.

I used to hate four door cars also, then I grew up.

I personally would not trade my motorcycle for a car unless my son had nothing to ride in with his car seat but I also commute on my bike during 9 months of the year. I love my four door Falcon but I also do not buy a car with resale in mind, I buy a car with me in mind. Do what serves you best but like what has been said you could sell the sporty and buy that car with cash left over to tune it up and lower it if desired.

  14. i have a sporty. but i ride mine to work everyday when its above 40. i will never get rid of it. but if you dont like it anymore i say go for it. if i had an extra bike i would trade. and while i ejoy some 2 door cars. i think this one has the right amount.

Thought I would give an update here. I ended up selling my bike for a nice stack of the green stuff. So now I am in search of the right car. Which will be a lot easier than trying to trade :)

That. OP, ask yourself this. When's the last time a perfect stranger walked up to you and said, "Dude! What a bitchin' ride!" Answer? NEVER. But you'll get that with an old car so much, you'll almost start to hate it.

ha, read my post from today. I sold the bike for cash. The guy with the car seemingly disappeared so I am on the hunt for something else.

Id do the trade. You can find a little sporster any where. If that car is as clean as it looks. That would go for around 3500-5000 all day in my neck of the woods.
