C9ED1D9C-8D27-4187-85CA-94F710D9E54A.jpeg I have a 1936 ford roadster( stock Flathead v8) . It is in need of new spark plugs . It has champion ud16 with the screw on brass hats so it can secure the bronze hook of the plug wire underneath.
When I searched online for ud16 it brought up a different style than mine I’m guessing a newer variation. I need something that is same or similar to what is pictured . If anyone can tell me if there’s any readily available options I can use that are similar .let me know plug name , plug gap needed . Thanks !!

Try looking at the Model A parts vendor sites. They use this plug, also. They may not look the same as the Champion plugs you have but they are available. Many old tractors use them, too. The brass screw on nuts will probably not be produced any more, but they would be cad plated. Your old nuts may work on them. Try a search for Snyders antique auto parts, or Brattons. They are two of the best in the business. Best to call and discuss your needs.

Plugs use a standard thread for the screw bullet terminal. Most traditional plugs still have the thread but use aluminium terminals. Just remove that and replace it. Brass nuts are available on ebay.

  5. You might also try The Brillman Company. They have all kinds of neat electrical supplies.
