Im having trouble getting my malibu wagon through New Jersey state inspection.... If you guys know any where to get boosted stickers, or fake ones please help me out... Im stuck with this junker, and its impossible to pass... Info on the car if needed- 78 chevy malibu wagon, 4 door, v8, grey color..... please guys!!!!!!
We had the state inspection here in Nebraska until the entire safety inspection process was overrun with illegal stickers, stolen stickers, bought stickers, counterfeit stickers, bribes for favorable inspections, and the like. There just weren't enough people to police the system, so they simply discontinued it.....the very next day, a load of kids in a mid 70's Olds sedan slid across the interstate on bald tires that would have never passed a legitimate safety/smog inspection and T-boned the guard rail. The roadway was wet and they were all killed... Guess what kinda people steal inspection stickers? Yep, criminals. I don't wanna be the one that helps a criminal get money for what ever it is he needs the money for.
Get a rice burner til you can square the car for inspection or get QQ plates, no inspection (oops - one more year for QQ"s)
Ah the car drives great. been driving it for the last 15 years but the smog inspection ruins the whole deal.... Even thing on the car is good except 2 little dings and the exhaust......
I havent ever heard this from anyone else but a friend of mine once told me they would dump in a quart of denatured alcohol to make a car run cleaner for smog inspection?? who knows he could be nutty....
Dump in a can of STP oil treatment in the motor and put a can of octane booster in the gas tank with about 1/4 left in it. Change your plugs and you should pass...
Aaaah, it's a grey one. They never pass. Something to do with lead in the paint. Fake stickers are your only hope!!! (Grey two doors will sometimes squeak by...less surface area or some scientific nonsense.) Good luck!
We had smog inspections when I lived in Vancouver, BC. We used to fill the tank with Mohawk premium which is gas with alcohol in it. Then a couple of cans of methyl hydrate ( gas line antifreeze ) in the tank and lean up the carb. Seemed to work.
