Yeah, those 1990s Honda Civics had pretty small radiators.

A new 8N ford tractor radiator. Cooled my 350 very well for less than 2 bills.

VEGA? I know they are small, hell they almost look like a heater core. [IMG]

I nearly did that for my car, except they were 1" too long. I was going to use two, soldered back to back with short lengths of pipe joining in several places.

Eventually had a wide 3 row narrowed and will use that. Mine is 14" wide by 22" tall.

I used one in my T bucket from a mitsubhiP/U, maybe late 80's early 90's.

Vega ones are small, but also have smaller hose outlets than most V8s.

A Mustang II V6 radiator would probably suit you, if not a Mustang II/Pinto four cylinder radiator. As with the Vega, the outlets on the four cylinder radiator are a LITTLE small, but I used one in a V8 Mustang II with a 351 (and a few secret cooling system mods!) and the motor never got over 170 degrees!

The V6 Mustang II rad is a bit bigger than the four cylinder unit, and harder to find (as very few had that garbage V6 engine), but it's a good cooler!

    Jeff,

Why don't we hit up Shorty's with a tape measure? If the Honda Civic one fits in your size envelope, you could prolly purchase one online for cheap.

ed- that was my plan. just wanted to get some ideas on what to look for.. thanks guys. i'll check out all of those. i like the postal jeep one the best. atleast it sounds cool... you know like " yeah the radiator is out of the jeep that dropped mail for my grandfather like 40 years ago" or something like that.

    Jeff,
Another option is having AFCO build you one to spec.
Call and ask for Rodney Brenner.
Tell him "HotRod Hayes" sent ya.

What are the dimensions of the 8N radiator? How many rows in the core?
