Need to get a BW t-10 rebuilt in Houston

Anyone got any reccomendations as to where in Houston to get a BW t-10 manual transmission rebuilt?

 

Actually great call. I want to bounce these off the audience to see if anyone has any experience with any of them.

I know of 3 but haven't used a one. These were referrels from the guys at Lawell Motorsports (drag cars)
They said in order of how good (this is 3 year old data BTW)

I hear ya man. Just don't want to do this one myself.... but may wind up doing that if I can't get a good reference here in Houston.

 

manual trannies are really not that hard to rebuild. I had to rebuild a t-5 for a final in my drivelines cl*** in college and it was fun.

 

The only difficult thing about rebuilding old manual transmissions, is figuring out just which parts you need to replace. It's not always obvious.

 

I've used Mac's Transmissions on the south side .They did a t 5 a couple years ago no problem

guy by the name of cajun jon (check the spelling permutations) hangs at all the DFW swap meets and rebuilds EVERY manual transmission every put in a car.
