Need to identify a part...anyone got an idea?

I picked up a small trinket today at the swap meet. it is a 4 pointed star with three mounting bolts on the backside. it has a part number on it, but two of the letters are halfway eaten up from pitting. It has the FOMOCO badge on it. Was wondering if anyone could look it up for me. The part number is "B" or "8", A, A, "F" or "P" - 8259 - B. so it could be

BAAF-8259-B
or
BAAP-8259-B
or
8AAF-8259-B
or
8AAP-8259-B

I think Ford pickups (6cyl) 53-56? had a 4 point star in the grill..........OLDBEET

 

Thanks, the guy i got it from said that ford make a 5 star truck series and suspected that they might be from that? bu ti had never heard some a rumor..with the bolts in the back it would make more sense to be part of a grill than a side trim piece.

 

I think "For Skin" Pick-uPs had them. Looks like something Spike would "mount" on his psuedo gay ride.
