Fellow Hambers. I'm putting some Astro-supremes on my 53 Chev. My dilemma is I'm not sure what wheel and tire size I should go with. 14 or 15's? 7 or 8 width? tie size? I'm aliitle worried about clearance, and I want it to look right. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
I have 14"astros on the 54. they are revered offset, and I dont think they will fit with the stock rearend, especially if the cars lowered. I just put some 215/70 14s with a skinny white wall on mine, they look a little tall to me, but its not bad. And it what we had on hand at work... You might hafta go with the standard offset ones on your car.... I have a couple of reversed ones with no tires that Im not using quite yet, Give me a call I will bring them by and we can check out the fit... -J.
