I have this bagged '59 Edsel, (5x114.3) and I want to run thick whites on it. So I need some wheels to do so, anyone selling any near the StL area? I want to make something happen!
we don't know what 5x114.3 is, but we do know what 5 x 4.5" is. The Ford car bolt pattern. Congrats on having a 59 Edsel, I just sold one. Neat cars.
What is wrong with the wheels that are on it now? What diameter wheels do you want? Do you want mag, chrome, or painted? Do you have a you pull it type salvage yard near you? Local swap meets? We need a lot more info to really help you. Pics of the car would be nice as well.
As well as a whole bunch of Japanese vehicles from 1980's onwards. All depends on how much of the wheel you wanna show off or cover with a cap/cover? As mentioned there are numerous variables that need to be considered other than just bolt pattern and overall diameter. If you are looking for advice on sizing then here is the place. 4.5 inches is 114.3 mm. Could be the OP isn’t in the US, and somewhere where the metric system is used?
Not a ton of information in his post, but I think he is attempting to say he is in the St. Louis area.
Just trying to help the guy out S’all plus it ain’t metric it’s just 5x4.5” converted hence the odd number of 0.30mm
