I am trying to install the window & mech in the doors of the 50 chevy, I went in fine but when testing, the window does not go all the way up, leaves about an inch gap. The regulator is maxed out and can't go any more, and I have played with the pivot adjustment. still has a gap. These are new regulators and window gl*** from LMC. The orig regulators were gone and all I have was the old window frames, This is the reference pic I am using.... 1fervc.jpg
You can see that the winder part is hanging in the pic, I am thinking that the linkage from the winder to the pivot arm on my new part is the wrong length.
Has anyone run into this problem?

Did you reinstall the metal trim around the gl***?

No, the new windows come pre-***embled with the frames, I still have the old frames, and tried one, same result, rolls up short about an inch.
