    I currently own a 1964 buick riveria. It is currently 3 different finishes of black. It needs alot of work that i don't have time or desire to do only to sell.

    My free time is quite short right now. My current job takes approximately 65% of my weeks time. I still have a 1950 chevy truck that I would much rather put my time into. I have wanted one of them for much longer anyways.

    Now for the question

    I would really love to use the Nailhead in the 1950 chevy. Do i have any chance selling the rest of the riv for anything but scrap at that point(i really don't want it to get scrapped)

    Thanks for your help

  2. Most here hate it, but eBay has got a lot to recommend in this case.
    Take lots of pics, if only to e-mail to prospects;
    be honest in the description;
    don't be discouraged at low bid activity - it all happens in the last five minutes anyway...

    If it's a decent car you should leave the motor in it and let someone else make it nice if you aren't into it. Yanking the motor definitely makes it more likely to be junked. If it's a rusted out shitheap that isn't worth fixing, take the motor, tranny, rear, interior stuff, and whatever else you can strip.

    But then, I really like Rivs, so I'm a little biased. [IMG]

    Hey, bottom line, it's your car. But if you really want a nailhead, it wouldn't be hard to find one.

    That's just my opinion.

    Good luck either way.
