Hey guys was wondering if anyone could help. I put a gm master cylinder with proportioning valve on my 48 pick-up, disc front rear drums . My problem is that when I go to step on the brakes pressure is good for a bit then all of a sudden the front start's leaking at the brake T where the two sides meet the one. I have double flared so many lines that I've gotten pretty good at it but it still happens. Could the proprotioning valve be bad ? or do I need to add a residual valve ? If this is needed do I need one for the front and back ? It only leaks up front at the T , and I have already replaced that. Any help would be appreciated .

sounds like the T leakes, but you have replaced that?? it's a giv'n they have to be tight. you can also over tighten them. you could try to replace the lines, this time with the factoy flares to the T. If i replace the lines i would put a new T in too. it can be a bitch till you find it. the leak has nothing to do with weather you do or don't need a residual valve
