Neighbor doesn't like my open headers!!

I'm sure my neighbors weren't too thrilled when I brought my cars over when we first moved in. They defiantely do not like when I come home late and the thing sets off alarms....I make up for it by helping them whenever they need **** done on their house or car or business...I don't charge them....

Being good neighbors is important...remember they watch your place when you are gone, and know what you have in your garage...

Don't forget old people. Most of my neighbors are retired, and I'm just some punk kid(i'm 25 and very respectfull of my neighbors, I don't even turn the tv up enough to hear it in any other room). My landlord came over today and tole me it i get one more complaint, I'm evicted. Last night was the second time EVER that I had people in the driveway, and I fired up the very muffled(no louder than a modern car) '55 Ply and reved it up a few times. it was only 9:24, so it's not like it was the middle of the night. I sleep in mornings and the construction down the block wakes me up, but I guess thats ok because it's really early in the morning instead of at night. never mind that I can here my neighbors phone conversations, tv's and the clock that chimes every hour on the hour. I accept a little noise every now and then as part of having neighbors. Am I wrong to think that?

I got a few touch neighbors....they go to sleep at 7pm every night. They are Rodders too...but grouchy in alot of ways....

I fire my cars at 8pm and test the clarity of the exhaust.

Open header...my 41 coupe had that...on both sides of the flatty. What fun I had with that car...but...never heard anything about it.

I told one neighbor to stick it and mind thier own business....they are of the complaining type...never happy w/ anything you do....

My neighbors are cool as hell. One of them keeps my trailer in his driveway and mows my front yard for me. My other one takes my garbage can down to the street for me. They Dont care care one bit how much noise I make.

 

I was pretty close to that number in Phoenix. Living on top of one another in the burbs, and anything over 90db usually ment they would at least come trolling by.I had a female cop stop one time (she was a hottie too) and talk to me about the car. She thought it was bs that someone would call for such a petty thing. I was gonna ask her if she wanted to take a spin, but my wife came out and spoiled that! I could see me screaming through the neighborhood with open headers and a Phoenix cop sitting right beside me!
