My newish neighbor is into Mustangs but knows I'm into older stuff so he gave me a box o' goodies. Mostly 39 Ford stuff. I've got a couple of questions. A few of the window handles have tags on them. Are they N.O.S. Ford or repro? 20250824_140931.jpg 20250824_141052.jpg Thanks!!

What a nice neighbor to have! I believe that with the Ford script tag they are genuine parts not repos.
    Very nice stash indeed!

Interesting 1939 license plate, I wonder if the Missouri DMV would let you use a plate with all zeros? I would think, why not they are numbers but who knows how the DMV thinks.

  7. There is a guy that sells the Ford script tags at the Charlotte swap meet, I see a lot of them on parts at this swap meet.

Probably not. Those are sample plates that are displayed at DMV offices (at least in Minnesota). That means there are many duplicates out there, which would preclude their use.

The tags are the same as the ones I got with a bunch of nos parts from the 50's. I would say they are nos.

Those are oilers from stationary engines, teens-20s. I see a sight glass as well, May may be a type of oiler. That glass Lunkenheimer may fetch a few dollars on the Smokstak site. Good score!

Machinery-equipment oilers. Not necessarily Ford parts.
