Hot Rods Neighborhood hot rods that influenced you

Before I had a car to drive, I used to walk my girlfriend home after school every day. On the way home I would walk past a house with a chopped top '48 Merc. sitting next to it in primer. Never saw the car move and for all I know it's still there 55 years later.
