    You learn something everyday.

I had never heard of "chicken skin" either. [IMG]

    This is a great story:
    - cheap Model A
    - now runs!
    - working with your dad

    Cool.

What are the plans for the ole' gal? Drive the tires off of it the way that it is with a minor mod's every now and then. But I am wanting to drive it as is and get it rolling down the road. I have a buddy that has access to a HUGE drill press that can drill the axle, he also has access to a GIANT tube bender that he mentioned that he could help with the bellytank project. It is kinda' funny of the stuff that relize you need when you are working on old FORDs. We were looking for extra bolts and nuts and dug thru coffee can after coffee can to find a single nut. And then after we got it running my dad asked me were my "springs" were. Ah, I could not find them so he found one to fix the carb pedal. So save all those old parts and such. I am going to the local "Model A" meeting next week to get more info.
