I put in our stock order for our new shop!!! what's up with these guys? half is on back order (which we were never told until the order came in) and the other half was all screwed up. These guys need to get their act together..sorry for the rant but i don;t understand a company of that size having service this bad
Right there wid ya R.P.! Ordered a fuel guage Feb 4th and was told I would get it in about 6 days. Still waiting. Ive called twice in the last 2 weeks and was told both times it was backordered and would be in "tomorrow". Man, just tell me the truth, at least then I wont get my hopes up. However, this is the first time Ive had a problem with them and if you want Moon gauges its about the only place to go.
You would think that they would take better care of a customer that is spending a couple thousand dollars and potentially more...
your rant is valid and many posts here prove it the bottom line is they are understaffed and underpayed. if you have ever been there it's all hands on deck with the phone ringing off the hook and 3 people doing 8 people's jobs. if they dont have it in stock, dont order it. make sure when you are ordering shit to ask "is it in stock, are you sure" thank god i live down the street...
Like FomoCo, I don't buy anything unless I can carry it out. If they ain't got it, I don't get it. It sure helps being local. Scotch~!
I keep hearing about these horrible vendors. I am myself in the sales/service business, and I could not imagine to treat customers like this... Here is what you do... 1. Buy with a credit card 2. Look for your part within a REASONABLE time. 3. If it did not show up as promised: Call them, be nice, ask for an ETA and/or tracking information. 4. If it still does not show up, call/e-mail/fax them with your order number and CANCEL the order. 5. Keep your documentation of your cancellation. 6. Watch your credit card statement. If a charge shows up AFTER your cancellation date, just call the credit card company and dispute the charge. They may ask for the cancellation documentation as well. 7. Order the items from another reliable source. 8. If the item shows up at your doorstep later, call then and tell them to arrange a pick up, or send a call tag on their dime. This goes for ANY vendor. My 2 cents...Hope it helps.
I know this is spam, but if it's worth anything to ya, Speedway sells Moon gauges...I personally have never had a problem with Moon, even with shit being backordered...it was ussually just a couple of weeks and then the part was at my door...just put one of their fuel tank senders in my coupe's tank...hope i can still get a gauge..
