Took a trip through Idaho and Montana. Found a few trinkets along side the road. This is a small sample.
Ok, I'll ask. Is it Chuck, what's up. Or is it what's upchuck? Nice group of old tin. I probably won't go up there looking as I didn't see one deuce roadster in the bunch.
Reminds of R&C 50 years ago and their monthly "Vintage Tin" feature. Thanks for taking the time to photograph and post for the rest of us! Very cool stuff!
neat pictures, thanks. I learned a new car...Auto Union 1000 Fits right in with the edsels, studebakers, etc.
When I see cars and trucks like these or at junk yards (not wrecks), I can't help but think that at one time they were somebody's brand new, bright and shiny, pride and joy.
Living in Illinois and Wisconsin my whole life, I always enjoy my trips out west, and down to Tucson to visit relatives just because of this! Old stuff sitting around randomly. My brother in law in Hot Springs SD drives a ‘59 Apache for his wood hauler. Not because he’s into cool old trucks-he’s dirt poor and the thing won’t die or rust!
W O W ! Neat stuff. Thanks for the "photo journey" ! And I too, noticed "the CROSS". Some old rugged iron & "the old rugged Cross .......
"we control the vertical" "we control the horizonal" "sit back and relax for you have reached the Outer Limits"....
These are awesome Chuck! Could you tell us where specifically some of these are? Especially that first group up against the side of a mountain? Thanks in advance.
What a great accumulation of old iron! I see a bunch there that are drool worthy project cars. I suppose nothing if for sale?
I like road trips for this sort of stuff. One thing, if you want to see these type of things stay off the interstates.
