I gotta say, it is rare that I see a car and say "that is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing" ... I literally just said that while looking at your pics (well, other than tossing the "move over" bug screen ). I am a huge fan of "salt flat" wheels too ... Unchopped/bumpers/fenders/hood/big headlights, the color is tasteful yet muted ... VERY nice My compliments to the chef, they followed the recipe PERFECTLY
The bug screen works when yer in the left lane @ 75/80 mph and sun idjit is doin 60/65-- a toot of the horn and blink of the headlites and they look in rear view mirror and get the message- Also ezier to shake the screen out than pullin rad shell to get da bugz outta the radiator-- Just sayin. Thanx for the KUDOs
I wondered about that. My eyes said, that car looks really really low in the front... but the tires don't look exceptionally small in diameter, and they don't really look like they're almost touching the fender. Are the fenders reshaped a little bit? The front edge extended a tad?
I understand but around my area, WAY more often than not, flashing your lights and tooting your horn gets you a face-full of brake lights and a real close look at the bumper of the moron in front ...
Back in the ‘70’s when I took drivers Ed, all the films they show were 20+ year old ones. The narrator talked about flashing your lights to indicate you wanted to pass. Just before the film narrator got to that part, the teacher stopped the film to explain “not to do was is about to be said” or something along those lines. I guess it was common practice? Back in the day.
Super cool deuce coupe, congratulations on that score. Just impeccable. Maybe it's the camera angles but the depth and the droop of the fenders looks a bit '34-ish. Deeper than how I see a 32. Beautiful car.
Yeah, no way those front fenders are stock. The pics in the post above show the have some 34 shape to them. I also think the rear fender has been massaged. The lip of the fender on top to the crown looks a lot more skinny than stock. Probably to get it lower with more tire clearance. it’s brilliantly subtle! Nice car!
