New guy here from Canton, GA, although I've been lurking here for several years under another username. Never posted anything cause I didn't have a car.

Well that has finally changed and I will soon begin building a 1955 Ford Customline that I'm buying from my dad. I'll be relying on the wealth of knowledge here as well as him during this build as it will be my first.

I have a few pictures of the car in an album here that were taken before he started working on the car. I'll add pictures as we start moving forward with the build.

Welcome. I am around the corner in ***ming. We are relocating out 55 Victoria Hardtop to Woodstock to finish working on it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Like I said, I've been lurking for awhile on this site and specifically this group.

My dad had originally bought this car because he wasn't having any luck finding his dream car ('56 Victoria). He had finished replacing the floor pans in the '55 and bought almost all the parts for the car when he found his '56. The '55 got pushed to the side until now.
Plans for the build are to install a 1987 Ford 5.0 with the E303 cam, backed by an AOD. The front will have disc brakes with Granada spindles while the rear end will be a 9" out of a 1957 Ford Wagon. As for the rest of it, I mainly want to keep it stock looking and just get it back together and drive the wheels off it.
